Teezdalien - Proggy Tech-House Goodness - Nov.08
Hi everyone,
I've just finished my latest promo mix for this month being November. For those that dig quality cutting edge dance music I suggest you download now and wrap your ears around this as it won't disappoint those with a refined ear. Not for the faint hearted, impatient or critics of extreme self indulgence. It's a proggy mix of tech-housy kinda goodness and I believe it's up there with there with the best of my mixes.
Look, I don't give a shit if none you bother to give this a go like the rest of the mixes I've bothered to post here, it's you missing out at the end of the day.
I hope you enjoy it and would also appreciate any comments or feedback.
Download via the link below.
Peace.

I just finished listening actually.
I love the opening track, and it works great as an opener, but as soon as the next track came in I was thinking "wtf, where are we going here?" It got pretty intense early on But you mellowed out a bit after that, and I think the flow was better in the last 2/3rds of the set.
I'm curious: How planned was this? Everything sorted first, or just flying by the seat of your pants?
I liked it though A lot of tunes I haven't heard before.

Thanks for your feedback mate. I really appreciate it.
Yeah, set flow is probably one of my biggest weak points and my aim is trying to make an unpredictable style yet trying to keep it smooth at the same time which is a hard task imo.
I did do a little preperation for this mix and actually took out another track from the mix which was a Mastiksoul tune between Excuses and Minuto because like you've pointed out, it was just too pumping too early on. I never really plan my placements when mixing and tend to drop tunes ad lib, but I key all my tracks and try to get a nice harmonic sound. Sometimes that doesn't help the flow of the set however, and there are a couple of the transitions in this mix that I'll probably avoid in future.
Most of these tunes I've only recently purchased over the last two weeks and is a good reflection of the kind of stuff I've been getting into lately.
Peace & Respect

Sorry for the late reply but I finally ran into your mix tonight. My biggest complaint is that you named the file 'NovemberMix', which sure as hell doesn't do much good. Luckily I knew the first track so I tracked you down that way...
Lots of great tracks in here, but I agree with sushi... got a bit hard early. Interesting stuff though, thanks for sharing it.

There are good tunes in there, but there are a few wtf moments. The flow will come with time, try cueing earlier, it won't work with all tracks but if you do this even if tracks don't flow perfectly they will be less abrupt.
