Is there a program I can put on my laptop that will allow me to connect to my Rane mixer to allow me to record my sets live directly onto the laptop?

What setup is needed?

if you need a soundcard for your laptop (you probably do beacuse most laptops have bad soundcards), there are many ones out there. If you have a firewire port on your laptop I would recomend using that and find a soundcard supporting that interface. If not you need to use an USB port and a USB soundcard device. Try M-Audio or something like that. If u do have a line-in on your internal soundcard on your laptop (NOT mic) you could try to see whether that works good enough or not by using a cable like this (RCA to MiniJack):
