Parallel Minds is back once again from Calgary! See them off as they head to tour Malaysia soon after!
There are four words that can describe Parallel Minds; dark, techy, grimey yet sometimes... uplifting. Chad Hardcastle and Micheal Constable met each other in early 2006 in a DJ competition. Upon meeting their love for Trance and dirty basslines brought them together.Soon after that they started producing a tougher, more rugged Tech Trance style. Gaining favor in the underground dance scene in Alberta they recently gained a residency with Adrek Recordings. Parallel Minds aren't just about the love of music and production; they are about performance as well. Versatile behind the decks and in the studio, expect nothing but a top performance and crazy stage antics by these party animals.

New York-born, Dutch and Spanish-blooded, Canadian raised; With a combination like this, its no wonder Allya&8217;s musical taste is as varied as his diverse background. To put things simply, music is his life. He is random, twisted, and always exuberant. A mix of positive attitude, good humor, and his tendency to roll with the punches all combine to make him a force to be reckoned with behind the decks. Anyone who has seen Allya in action can attest to his showmanship, his crazy backstage antics, and his good nature about everything.
Allya does not limit himself to one genre of music and feels that variety and flexibility are key when playing for a crowd. He is known to mix everything from Trance, Hard Dance, and Hardstyle to Techno, House, and Electro and sometimes even adds a splash of Funky Breaks in his sets, often using three-deck mixes, live looping and scratching, and adding accapellas to spice things up a bit and create exclusive sets that just cannot be replicated in a studio environment &8211; one really must see Allya playing live to appreciate the love this DJ has for his craft, the music and the crowd.
Notable artists he has opened for include Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Lisa Lashes, Anne Savage Paul Maddox, Guyver, Sophie Sugar, BK, Scot Project, Andy Moor, John &8216;00&8217; Flemming, Adam Sheridan, Brooklyn Bounce, DJ Mea, and DJ Diamond. Allya has also closed for acts like The Thrillseekers, Johan Gielen, Alphazone, Remo-Con, 4 Strings, Sander Van Doorn, Lee Haslam, Sweet Kelly, Miss Lisa, Benny Benassi, Christopher Lawrence, and Eddie Halliwell. People have often wondered why Allya has been the choice opener/closer for so many respected acts. Simply put, he knows how to read a crowd and build a mood of anticipation; or when closing, who else can still keep the party energy going after such great artists as these?
