you could try loading it up in cooledit 2000 and messing about with some of the setting, i dont know much about it but im sure that there is an option to alter the pitch and then resave the mp3

Look for the Pacemaker plugin for WinAMP on the winamp site. It lets you control the tempo, pitch, and speed of the track independent of each other. Fun toy. The only thing I'm not sure of is if it affects the WinAMP DiskOut plugin - so I guess you'll have to try it for yourself.

peace

yeah i have pacemaker.but i find it rather irritating to change teh pitch everytime. And if the next song starts that one will be way too fast.
But i will try to use Cool Edit Pro

Drunk not sure...

r u burning mp3 from cd??
if u are, then u can get a new cd-drive...i have an old 32x cd-rom that will only burn at 0.9-1.3x with error correction at 192kbs. it will do about 4-5x without correction, but i prefer to have it on.
but my bro has a dvd/cd-rom drive and he can burn at 10-11x with error correction.
don't know if there are any proggies that will make it faster, but my bro said it's something to do with the digital audio extraction capabilities of the drive.
hope this is of some use...
