Just watching CNN news - the $700 billion dollar bailout failed (205 votes - yes, 228 votes - no).

The DOW Jones dropped to -770 today which is the LARGEST drop in US history and it's continuing to drop slightly after its 4pm closure.

This is really fucked for US economy....They're finally crashing and burning!!!

Yeah, a bailout though was just a temporary fix no? No REAL changes/attempts to fix what's happening down there IMO.

Temp fix yes, but SOMETHING needs to be done until a proper solution is implemented and takes effect.

A big boat takes a long time to turn around...

And with the election date so soon... I dont see any major solutions occuring until the new president is in the house.
