lol i hate bar 13

lineups are hit or miss, openers are nothing special usually, and the crowd is lame.* place isnt nearly dark enough, dj booth is awkward and sound sucks, also bar is laid out terribly so that you can't stand without havign to move somewhere, because it blocks the bathroom or the lounge area or the columns where lonely people wait around. i go there only if the lineup is killer and nothing else is going on that night. usually there is just one headliner and you have to wait until 2 am, so it kills your whole night (places close at 4 in nyc ) for example, last weekend sten/lawrence did his live set at bar 13 and i really wanted to check it out, but i get there, they fuck up the list for my friend who's visiting from germany, someone is playing get physical/pokerflat/scitec tripehouse and i ordered a beer and then left for bunker. after a couple bottles of wine at my friend's loft, micha klang and mike servito laid it down proper at the bunker and i was dancing my sweet little socks off

**except bunker sucks now that they moved the dj booth onto a stage - what the fuck is that? they used to have a couple tables in the corner and people would just all party together, and now fucking tiesto could play there, not to mention it just sandwiches the whole room which already is a sweatbox on select nights
