Any Montrealer who was of legal drinking age in the late 1970s knows about the famous disco nightclub known simply as "Twelve thirty-four." In its heyday, this world-famous discotheque was frequented by the likes of the Village People and Grace Jones. Before its metamorphosis into a disco club, this historical building was a funeral parlour, as well as the home of Alexander Galt, a Father of Confederation.

Club 1234 is one of Montreal's premier nightclubs. The main space is a mix of contemporary styling with updated pieces of some of the classic architecture.
