Looks like somekind of fantasy themed 2D platformer with physics-based gameplay and colorful stylized environments. I have no idea what it is, but I'm definately intrigued.
Create and use unique objects in order to beat enemies and continue on your journey in this gorgeous new game for PSN.
(the description says PSN, but it's listed under PSN and PC)
Funny how just a few days ago in another thread I was talking about how PCs need more games designed around gamepads.

tbh that looks like it would work better with a mouse...
who knows?
looks intriguing but it also looks like it stacks up pretty closely with LBP. obviously its not totally open world, but you could possibly just make those levels in LBP until sony removed them for no reason.
hopefully its a bit deeper than make a box, make another *floaty* box, make a long platform, make a long *floaty* platform, repeat|

There was also melee combat, ranged combat, destructible environments, and some grappling hook action, so it looks like it's not just about creating floaty boxes.

With the presence of the cursor on the screen, I'll have to agree.
The visual style of the game is nearly identical to that of LBP. Which is not a bad thing at all. Trine looks like it places more emphasis on combat rather than puzzle solving (though it seems those two concepts combine at some points).
Definitely have to watch for this.

well yes, but almost every action was repeated in the trailer several times, i just hope its more complex than that. ICO had only one or two actions and the game was great...but that is about the pinnacle of gaming simplicity|
