Hello, not sure where to put this so i'll stick it here.

I'm thinking of picking up some turn tables and so on to just play around with at home. I'm totally new to this never did it before so I dont need the best but I also dont really want cheap crap either.

I do want one that will easily play mp3s since most of my music is in mp3s anyways. Also if there is a way where I could hook up directly to my desktop so I dont have to burn cds when i want to mix that would be great also.

I would be hooking it up to my comp so I can use my computer speakers. I have the inputs on my sound card to do this. While im at it I could rec as well.

Anyways any help would be great, As where to buy from a trusted place online.

looks interesting. Another option is to get a pair of used Technics 1200 with a mixer. You can find the whole set up for like 800 bucks on craigslist then buy Serato Scratch which is about 500 bucks and you'll have some industry standard stuff in case you play out, if not it's still a solid set up.
