Voted. Theres an amazing amount of shit in there, but some good tracks too.

I think it all needs to be changed to selecting one track from each heat. I was forced to vote a crappy Ferry track as a fav just to get a Human Blue track voted for, which is crazy. Now I picked it in such a way so that a track that was doing badly got a vote, and not a track that was doing well which could then outvote the track I wanted.

But yeah, change it to one track

yeah I agree. In every heat there were like only one track which i felt deserved my vote. Change it to one track per vote instead.

I heard a few of these tracks... but the selections this year were outright atrocious. Voted for the least shittiest tracks (since there were not many outstanding tunes) based off youtube uploads/beatport samples.

The problem this year compared to the three previous years I've conducted this contest is that not as many people nominated as in years past. Therefore a track with 3 nominations that were high on someone's list, hence more weight, were able to make their way in.

Coup, others, and I had this discussion before. The consensus was that more people wanted the opportunity to vote for more than one track in the past; as did Coup.

Since Coup is no longer here I will ask the TA brethren what they prefer for round two (I won't change round one as it's already under way). I will start a thread in the music forum asking this of you.
