Brad Copeland is a Dj from Ottawa. He spins a Progressive sound. He began as a resident at Atomic. Atomic is one of Canada's orignal afterhours, the birthplace of Max Graham. Copeland is said to be Max Graham's prodigy and if you know anything about the scene, you will know that Max can rock a party. I remember seeing Max in Vancouver about two years ago or so opening for Oakenfold and I think it can be argued that he spun a better set then Oakie himself. You can only imagine how Brad will spin this weekend. I've seen him a couple times in Montreal at Stereo, the afterhours that holds one of the best analog sound systems in North America if not the best. That is a true test as to whether a dj can spin or not. THe music is so crisp you can have a conversation without shouting while the music is bumping. I picked up a flyer for Copeland at the drink this thursday Aug 1st and Max is quoted on the flyer as saying "Brad is one of the few DJ's that really understnads the needs of the dancefloor, and he pushes the limits of his sound with confidence. I'm constantly trainspotting him." I know I will definitely check him out this August long weekend at least once if not all dates. I recommend him to any and all and if you don't get out to see him, I doubt you can call yourself a tranceaddict.
