Made Event presents Miami-based stalwart Markus Schulz as he returns to one of his favorite venues and cities to play across the globe at Pacha New York on Friday, January 23rd, 2009.

Schulz had an unprecedented 2008, breaking the Top 10 barrier for the first time in the much heralded annual DJ Mag Top 100 poll, and slotting into the 8th position. To many, the achievement was not a surprise, due to possessing one of the busiest tour itineraries across the circuit, including residencies in London and Ibiza.

In an attempt to chronicle his travels for the millions listening worldwide to his Global DJ Broadcast radio show, the GDJB World Tour concept was conceived, and went on to become one of the major success stories in 2008. Back in May, Schulz brought the World Tour roadshow to New York City, and to Pacha, where he captured the highlights of a set many are still talking about today.

The night in particular was memorable for clubbers and GDJB listeners for one reason; it was the night he debuted his storming remix of Australian Sia's track, entitled "Buttons". The remix, along with his own production "The New World", would go on to dominate dancefloors everywhere, becoming some of the most requested tracks in a typical Markus Schulz set. The New World features on Schulz's remix album, entitled "Progression Progressed", and features peak-time interpretations of his championed anthems "Perfect" and "Daydream" among others.

Markus kicks off 2009 heavily focusing on his next compilation project, "Toronto '09". Slated for release in March, he will strive to bring the freshest tracks that have been tried and tested on the dancefloor, and Pacha is sure to be a high benchmark. On playing at New York's best superclub, he commented "New York is one of those special cities that I just love to play at every opportunity. The crowd are very knowledgeable and only expect the very best performances, so I am really looking forward to the next challenge. Pacha NYC is a beautiful club, and I can't wait to get back in that booth and play again."
