Can anyone list any? I really gonna kill myself if i cant find any quality samples. I have got that vengeance essential clubsounds vol 2 (Or 1 i cant remember. lol) , It has great bass sounds and cymbals , but seriously , the percussion SUCKS .
in the whole 100 percussion i can only find 2 or 5 useable samples.
So can anyone of you list some great trance drums samples? I would prefer samples for uplifting trance..
Thx in advance

Yeh I did the vengeance thing,
but honestly my best percussion samples came from those little (not sure if their even legal) compilations people sell on ebay where they take a SHITLOAD of samples packs they've collected over the years and sell them.
I bought maybe about 5 (most were cheap, like $10 each)
and 2 of them turned out to be little gems LOADED with great percussions.
Ebay isn't always good for certain things, but I have found a lot of decent sample packs there, especially one sick nord SF2 pack that I've used more than anything in my life.
I don't really buy samples anymore but can honestly say some of the most useful packs I got were from ebay .
You may have to waste 3 or 4 hours going through samples, but theres always some nice little suprises in those things.

freesound project. Thrill seekers have free samples on their site. Lastly if you want to pay i have heard great things about Drums overkill sample pack.

Vengeance Electro, Minimal, House 1 and 2 got the best percussion samples imo.
and what mr. mystery said. build your own library, seriously, it's not hard, there is nothing to it but using google.
freesound project has amazing samples, samples i consider better than the shit you have to pay actual money for, and in the end all you get is samples countless of other people are investing in.
sort of a rant, but i'm just so sick of people recommending vengeance whenever someone asks for samples

+1
Minimal loops are also quite nice when cut up.

Another excellent option, if you can afford it (or already have them), is to buy Stylus RMX and Propellerhead ReCycle. You can use ReCycle to convert your existing .wav loops into REX format, port them to Stylux RMX, and mangle/morph them into whatever you want in real-time, mix and match slices from different percussion loops, etc. It's a great way to get unlimited mileage out of your existing library or loops that you find on the web.
