what genre is this?

what genre is this and where can i get more tracks like this? my first guess is tribal house which was big around 2000-2002. can anyone recommend some labels or artists that have this kind of sound?

I'd say tribal house too. Check out mixes from Steve Lawler back in those years you mentioned and go from there

yeah check out steve lawler man, me, ive never been into slow music, but i used to listen to a lot of steve lawler sets/tracks around 2002 / 2003 time
