I held out on writing a review for Jazztronik's mix of K G O over the past year and a half because I didn't want to draw any more eyes to this record than are already on it. But now I've pretty much accepted the fact that I will never have this on vinyl so f*ck it.
Where to begin. Let me first start out by saying that this is the greatest house record ever produced. The greatest dance floor production of all time. There is nothing else like and there will never be anything else like it. As the track runs its course, your soul is lifted as 5 different synth layers stack up on on top of another to the point where every molecule of your being is taken straight to heaven. I can't describe the feeling that this gives me. It is 100% musical perfection. If by some chance I got to hear this at a huge club or event, I do not know what would happen. It would probably involve me going absolutely bananas and being escorted out by security.
To anyone else seeking this on vinyl, good luck. I hope that someone from Flower Records comes across this review and decides to run a repress. Please, for the love of god, do another run for this vinyl. Its just too good for so few people to have it.
