Academy Awards nominations out!

LOL... The Curious Case of Benjamin Button got 13 nods. I mean, it was cool but 13?? It wasn't the Godfather or Schindler's list for god's sake.

Yeah I did see the similar comparisons between "Forrest Gump" and "Benjamin Button". Then again, we're talking about the same screenwriter who wrote both movies, so no one can claim hack here. Still, yeah similar situational line, and both good movies. I am questionable about the 13 nominations, and also questionable about Slumdog Millionaire's 10 nominations. Oh well. That's the Academy for you, eh?

I watched benjamin button the night before NYE and it totally killed my buzz. I mean, it's good, but jesus fuck people need to calm down.

Parts were about as cliche as it gets...

Milk was the best film I saw in 2008.

yeah and while dark knight has 8...7 of them are technical awards :/

I think Benjamin Button is a good movie. Not amazing, but definitely good.
