am in love with this set, his best one in a long time...you gotta understand that Rowan always delivers something special and unique, dont expect him to play the same style he used to play cause now everyone is jumping on that bandwagon and that was all he needed to get off

Actually, I feel he was a somewhat breath of fresh air among countless DJs who jumped on the tech-house bandwagon...He was one of the few who still played some proper progressive house
but its harder and harder now to find quality tunes of his style without hundreds of djs eating it up because its somehow mainstream now with certain labels churning tunes that sound exactly the same

More mainstream than what Tech House has become? I know it's hard to find quality tunes in that style, but a good DJ always digs deep to find his music. Hell, DJs like Desyn and Rowan have made their careers based on finding the stuff that noone else is playing!
I still think Rowan is one of the hardest working DJs out there, I just don't dig this new style as much as I enjoyed the stuff he played before. The more proggier and melodic stuff, like his August 2007 set @ Chinese Laundry. Fucking legendary.
