A buddy and I are traveling to Atlanta on 4.1.09 to see Armin @ Opera... Can't wait!! I have a question for you locals... Is the $65 VIP worth the price? I know here in Charlotte at the Forum the VIP section is upstairs, farther away from the DJ booth and the big speakers and lights. How is the setup at Opera and what does a VIP ticket get you?? Thanks in advance.

The DJ booth is elevated at Opera, so the VIP sections are very close to it.

I'm not sure what the listening set up is like up there, but I have noticed people in VIP have better luck getting access to the DJs for autographs/handshakes/photo ops/etc.

I've never done it myself, so I can't tell you much more.

uh well it depends on what your going for if your going to get crazy then just chill in the sardine can if you are like with a girl then chill up stairs I would tend to be in the booth when I was there so the monitor speakers were good right in the booth and behind it as for the 3rd floor bar its kinda cool to see everyone get crazy down stairs if your trying to chill out and talk.

it all depends on what your trying to do. I personally can not stand the dance floor there.
