Man these are cheepskate con wankers! ive just been looking at broadband offers, even tho i got ntl cable just to make sure im getting a good deal and by far i am!

freeserve broadband just to get going is £150!!! includes 'registration' and the modem (yeah i can see why a phone calls costs £50+) and then the modem is urs, so when it goes out of date...tuff! and after that massive amount, another £30 a month is wanted! tyipcal bt!!

ntl charge £25 a month for cable or £50 a month for 1mb/line (1024kbit) which would be around 140KB/sec, and i pay £25 a month and rent my modem, so when better ones come, they should send me a better one, installation (ntl come and install a special cable from ur box to wherever ur pc is) only cost me £25, bt dont even install anything, u lay a massive wire all over ur floor to ur telephone point! i mean come on, bt broadband give u everything in a box and say get on with it, and charge £150 for the privledge! ubelieveable!

Well check out the price for cable from ntl if you dont have cable digital. Thats why i am going to get bt adsl

Aye I got blueyonder cable, very happy with it. had some problems at first, but it's all sorted now. £50 quid installation and £25 a month. That's not much more than the unlimited 56k deals, and you get a much better deal.

i think ntl, telewest and blueyonder are all the same company coz they all offer the same services and charge the same for everything! im happy with mine!

i always new bt was pricey but that takes the biscuit!

so, what is the cheapest cable internet around?
and doesnt need a credit card to pay

ntl cable as far as i can tell, the bill gets added onto ur normal bill with them! direct debit, not a cc tho! shop around tho!

me has this aswell. I also had sum probs to begin with... it kept freezing for like 10 mins at a time, but this was like 6 months ago, now its mint!
