I don't generally like the really heavy Israeli stuff over and over, but I quite enjoyed this. I liked the intro; that was a funny idea.
I had a look at your other mix and I knew quite a lot of the tracks, but this one not so much. That Bushman track is absolutely awesome, never heard that one before! I also liked the track at the 47 minute mark; very unique melody and cool bass line.
For me, the real strength of this mix was in the bass lines. So many full-on tracks have pounding, energetic yet mediocre bass lines and crap, randomised melodies. Here you've focussed on what I love...thumping, unique-ish bass with minimalistic melodies. That said, I didn't enjoy all the tracks in this set. Not a big fan of track seven, and the vocals around the 43:00 minute mark were awful!
I'm not sure what Magadansky has said about your mixing in the past, but in attempting to make some of the transitions energetic, I found a few to be quite jarring. The best example of this is at 39:30. Some of the other mixes were pretty good though; you obviously have a good idea of phrasing and how to use it; the mix into "Turbulence" showed this, although the beatmatching there was also a little sloppy. Overall though I don't think the mixing really added or detracted from the entire set.
It was cool the way you got more trancey and melodic towards the end; this really added to the set and gave a feel of true progression. The last track was pretty good. I'm annoyed because I bought the "Serotonia" album and didn't like it at all; why couldn't I have got the album that this was on?
In regards to energetic mixing, there are a few methods of doing this that will give that necessary "JUMP!" feeling you're looking for without being so sudden and surprising, send me a private message if you're interested in what I have to say.

Samuel L. Jackson can never go wrong as the beginning of a mix

That Bushman track is very good, it's the best one on his album, Unhuman. He has some other good tracks on there too, but this one was the most appropriate for this set. The track at 47 minutes is Drop This, and that's another cool track.

My definition of full on is exactly what you pointed out. I don't consider all psy with rolling basslines to be full on, especially the crappy randomized warpy synths that hop up and down the whole time. I'm more of a fan of heavy saws, squares, and minimalistic melodies that carry the beat along.
You didn't like ROUNDERS?? That was one of my favorite songs on the set!

My next set is going to be more trancy in the beginning, followed by some melodic full on later.
Quadra has seriously grown as a producer in his new album, Voice of Reason, compared to his previous work. I have used 3 of the tracks on that album in my sets. Cyberfunk, Technoport, and Unification. Wonderful album.
Thanks so much for the detailed response! You don't know how much I value these kind of replies!

LIstening:
I see that you listened to my other advice for the set itself, now its 192 kbps
Nice intro, the pistol shots made it a great introduction into the psy theme! The first track however doesn't do it for me, sounds very blant, I am missing something here.
The transition into the second track is a bit ropey I think, the change of the bassline is too radical but that doesnt bother me so much (but some might will). Changing the basslines throughout the set is a good thing! The track itself is much better than the first one! Overall first 12 min sound like a long build up, nothing really blasting is coming for now...
This transition was better than the first. I can feel that we start to groove now, much more dancable track than the first two. Nice one!
20 min transition is not good. It kills the energy and there is a trainwreck as well. The track itself is just decent, nothing really special imo.
27 min is wtf moment. I think I get what you intended to do but its way too odd. You faded way too much the first track before introducing the second from the breakdown or so... Although the track is great as a flow, imo the transition didnt work very well.
Next transition is ok, the energy was preserved, the track is good, everything is fine!
The track afterwards is a bit awkard! Not in a good way unfortunately, at least for me! It doesnt sound so energetic as the previous one.
I will edit the post when I hear the whole thing, now I must close the browser!
