Hello all, this month the Movement will have a special international guest from Krakow, Poland. Over the past few years, he has made a big change to the electronic music scene in Poland by organizing, promoting and playing at a series of parties all over Poland called Ibiza's Most Wanted. He has recorded an exclusive set for the Movement with sounds in the deep house, progressive and techno spectrum.

As usual, the first hour will be mine followed by the guest!

BIOGRAPHY
“From deep Shadow to the Sun”

DJ Barillo was born on 23rd of May 1977 in Krakow, a city that later became an unquestioned inspiration for his musical compositions. He discovered deep interest for music very early, at age of about 12, and by the time Barillo reached 20, it turned into quite serious passion. When you hear Barillo saying “My spare time is music time”, everything becomes clear.

Barillo simply means true talent and individuality and unique skills especially in the creation of outer space projects! .His adventure with club-music life scene started in ‘Cien’ (Shadow) where he was working as a resident and art manager at the same time. You could even literally say that Cien was the place he came “out of the shadows”. During that time Barillo was regulary spending his holidays on sunny and lazy Ibiza Island. One of those sunny days Barillo took the advantage of DJ’s competition that revealed his talent and brought him to the top. New born deep-house music star started to outshine the others on the local club-music scene.

That was a breaking point in Barillo’s carrier, a quick turn that brought him to the top dance floors in both Poland and outside the country.

His soul-awakening music uplifts and enegizes clubbers in such places as : Bledne kolo, Rdza, Frantic, Vinyl, Piekarnia, Utopia, Klubokawiarnia, Tomba Tomba, Dekadencja Quasar Sfinks, Surf Spot, Solar.

His enormous talent carries him across the world, giving the opportunity to play in a variety of clubs out there. Ibiza, France, England, Canada, Sweden and Czech Republic – Barillo left marks of his professional activity in all those countries, lightning a fire in clubbers’ heart and bodies. No wonder the public always greets him with great enthusiasm. Barillo’s spectacular masterpiece comes from ability to connect different styles such as deep house, tech, progressive and techno, which energize inner fantasies of electronic music fans.

His music that springs up on the basis formed by works of various artists (Mark Knight, Pete Gooding, Smoking Jo, Danny Graham, Paul Harris, Moonbootica, Jonathan Ulysses, The Beginerz, Stonebridge, Ozugar Can, King Roc, Tom Novy, Olav Basoski, Todadisco, Paul Jackson)- has proven to be "the real thing", the masterpiece leaving club goers speachless. It was in the beginig of 2008 - when his first single ( "We love Mangha") came out (thanks to a company called Point Records).

Right now he is working for the Sunset People agency creating his single "Ibiza Most wanted" event that has become a regular stop for the most popular projects (such as Let's Get Dirty and Cirus) and became the ‘talent’s factory’ helping discover young artist from all around the world. The Sunset People also brings out young talents from all around the world. Year 2008 was crucial for this young artist for many reasons.One of them was the cooperation with one of the best Polish DJ’s Robert M - Barillo took part in realesing his new single called „Can‘t slow down“, beloved by both audience and critics alike. Barillo has excelled not only as as a music artist, club DJ, co-creator in event agency - Sunset People but also a producer in Point Records.

Finalization of this succesful year will be the celebration of New Year‘s Eve party under the „I love Tokyo „name - hosted by DJ Barillo and house-music community.
