MONO-POLY | http://www.eresys.ca

Musician since the age of twelve years, Mono-poly enjoys an open musical spirit acquired trough his practice as drummer, guitarist and pianist. In 1998, electronic music made its appearance through its repertory and it was by hanging out with several maniacs of this musical genre that he was been able to spread his knowledge into this type of music. A year later, he decided to master the turntables and after that day, his passion for electronic music has only increased. For him, the mastering of this art allows him to express his musical and artistic side. His creativity is also expressed in composing, also part of his passion for music. He started in 2006, with a group of friends, the Eresys collective which produce monthly electronic nights that are growing in popularity. In 2007, he founded is own label Glucosamix with Dj Radioactif and start producing event like HORIZON. He opened many nights for Alexi Delano, Alex Smoke, Simon Baker, Appendic's Shuffle , Monoblock, Seth Troxler , Pheek, Mateo Murphy and Luci (Guillaume Coûtu-Dumont). In 2008 , his performance at the Piknic Electronic earned him the respect of the montreal crowd. He was also invited in Toronto by Hushlambs production for a night at the TOI bar. Since october 2008, he is a resident at the Salon Daomé for the Eresys party. 2009 promises to be a very exciting year for him, as a DJ but also as a music producer. His style can be associated to Techno, Tech-House and Minimal. His main influences are Adam Bayer, Paul Ritch, Barem, Dubfire and Richie Hawtin. Monopoly gains his place when it is time to animate the dance floor and it is with out any doubt his presence on the stage and his energy what are greatly appreciated by the crowd.

MOEVALITH | http://www.projektunderdog.ca

The DJ selects the tracks that suit his style: hard bass drums, wide-open hats, crunchy snares, abnormal hooks, industrial and reverberated atmosphere intertwine within the genres of tech-house, techno and minimal. His past led him to become obsessed with Allen & Heath mixers with the highest respect for the nurture and nature of the scene in London, England. Influnenced by the likes of Matt Tolfrey(Leftroom Records), Florian Meindl(FLASH) and Brian Sanhaji(CLR), he's inclined toward dark, underground venues where comfort breeds opportunity for a challenge. Having recently played alongside established and up-and-coming locals Hakim Guelmi, Paul R, Maher Daniel, Rick Laplante, Viktor Destin with resounding support for all E.D.M. underdogs and a multitude of artist, organizers and venues. It is safe to say that teh DJ's future looks bright. The producer desires to contribute his unique vision of sound via Properllerheads Reason 4 rewired to Logic 8. The tracks resemble those of Maetrik, Radioslave & Ortin Cam yet remain distinctly his own. It is through the producer that the past, present and future have the clearest roles: numerous unfinished and unnoticed projects helped to evolve the ear. With a workaholic drive and an artistic need to express, the future of the producer is not unlike the DJ's. Bright. The promoter believes in the effect of the EDM sound and wants to spread it. The youngest of the three, mostly known to promote fresh electronic intimate dance music events that feature healthy and promising underdog talents, the promoter has been pushing his own and other organized events at the now closed Velvet club since April 2oo7, while also promoting the bigger events he believes in. Genuine in his support and promoting, when it comes to his own events, he holds total control over promotion, graphics, bookings, finance and other PR matters. Having already achieved a solid status in Montreal, he is always for the lookout to promote fresh new talent. The promoter stands alongside the DJ and the producer as Moevalith, the artist who personifies all three, can't help but feel happy about answering that calling and excited about the bright future that lies ahead. -- Written by Nikola Grozdanovic

LUCIE LEBEL | http://www.noerg.com
