Shake it [Tech House]

I posted another track with the same name a few weeks ago. I revamped that track, this time it sounds more how I would of like. Still need to work out the frequencies & bass but would like to hear some views on the track at the moment. I've heard it too many times now.

All comments and feedback much appreciated

i like what you did with the sounds, good producton skills, but i think you need a bit more melody. you have rythm though just apply your rythm to the actual notes themselves and you could spit out some real cool riffs.

yeah absolutely. in fact, yo udont even have to think too much to make a new melody from the one you made. just take the same structure of a 4 measure riff, and play with shortening the really long notes and adding notes of the same key in between. it should sound just like the original except with a more rythmic melody.

definately liking this. i wouldnt add melodies to it the dirty raw sounds it has at the minute are great and melodies would take that away to be honest. you dont want to over do it on the track like the current sounds be heard and not over cluttered.

what you producing on?

Thanks for comments dude.

I'm quite glad you said that cos that was the sound I was after, quite dark and techy, not so much melody driven.

That said I'll take all advice and see if things look better in a few days or keep it as it is.

Using R4.

I enjoyed the groove and feel of the track, but to be honest (personal opinion) the voice became almost annoying after awhile, Less is More, in most cases
I am also using R4, nice to hear what you pumped out of it
also the sound that plays through most of the track starts to get repetitive, maybe change it up and try some effects or other things on it, with all the wiring possibilities I'm sure it shouldn't be too complicated, maybe somehow you could get it to directly communicate with the groove,
just some thoughts, I know it's not the easiest thing in the world to produce ehe, having some issues myself,
another thing is the groove gets overridden with all the other stuff, this could be a Less is more issue, but also panning and cutting certain frequencies here and there could help I'm not sure exactly what the problem is but the groove definitely is less present in the 2nd half

All the best!

I did think that about the vocals, being repetitive and other parts. There is also things I can take out to make it less cluttered. Thanks for the tips mate, will definatley use them when I make the changes.

Great groove in this tune mate.

FX are also very good. Really like them.

The build at the break works really well. Not too overdone which I liked. Though I would have made more use of the white noise at the build ups. Really get them to dominate the mix at the climax and when the beat initially comes back in.

Bass sounded good, though slghtly lacking in power on my monitors, still sounded good though.

No other complaints here. Solid track.

btw, where abouts in UK are ya just out of interest..?
