There's this program which claims to sort out your itunes and get it back ship shape etc.

It's not spyware.

A co-worker swears by it and uses it pretty regularly, achieving noticeably faster speeds with general tasks as a result.

However, I used it and it fucked my registry, meaning I had to roll back to the restore point I had set beforehand.

This is something I have seen many times over the years from this horrible program.

There is a program (I think it may even be winamp) that can determine the proper tag for it. It isn't perfect, but sometimes it is correct.
