I don't like this guy and the way he talks. He sounds like an asshole.
Is this a sitcom? Fox News wants their village idiot back.

He's just irate, like most of us who work for our money, that we are now being forced to prop up the mortgages of those who can't pay, won't pay, don't pay, and had no business getting a loan in the first place. I don't blame him.

There is nothing wrong with the ideas presented, it's just the way they're presented... kind of like frying bacon in bat shit. It's bacon - but it's fried in shit.

He presents himself as an idiot, and its a bit scary to see suits getting angry...

I am all for social services, big government, helping the little guy, but seriously these idiots that bought something they cant afford need to lose their houses.

If we bail them out they wont learn their lesson. Obama seems like he is trying to regain the status quo and that status quo was what got us here. It can not be maintained.

A culling of the herd needs to be done, and if its not done and we artificially keep it where we want it to be everyone is going to suffer eventually and we might already be.

Maybe the US should investigate and solve the issue of why people cant afford houses in the first place. That a working family of two cant even pay a mortgage, at least not a fixed rate one. Why do these families and people feel that they can only get a house through those horrid ARMs?

Thats what needs to be solved. Not bailing them out and saying "next time dont do this."

with all due respect, big government is not good in a capitalist economy such as the U.S and the U.K.

If you wan't a totalitarian government go to Cuba, Venezuela, or any other third world nation.

Obama is a socialist and a radical. His ideas are not in accordance to the conservative population (the majority of people who work for a living, save money, live within their means, etc).

Obama clearly condemns wall street. The government is trying to control everything and that is not good at all. A big government is not the solution to the problems of those who fell under the current financial doom.

While it does affect all of us, the private sector should remain...well, private. That I agree with you. If you bail out everyone people will repeat their mistakes, because big brother (or big nanny) will be there to watch your back. Worry not, all of this money does not come without strings attached, we are entering the era of big government control and supervision, expect your privacy to be sold and distributed, expect big taxation, extreme fiscal policy, expect government intervention in everything that used to belong to the private sector.

hopefully, the united kingdom will learn from the mistakes of America. In dire situations like these (even worse) than those currently lived across the ocean, it is of great importance to stay focused and calm. Panic is not a solution and America is running scared.
