Youtube taught me how to screw...ya really

Hey guys! As I can see, there's some tech-heads in here so that's the reason of this thread's life.
I made this one yesterday to see where I was in mixing and see if I should continue or not...Obviously, I need feedbacks so I can make my mind.
I'm not here to "têter pour un booking", neither doing a showoff of myself. I'm here to have critics.

Some guy told me what I'm mixing was called "Mindfuck Techno". Prove him right or prove him wrong.
BPM : 135-140
Tracklisting :
1. Submerge101 - A train to nowhere
2. DP-6 - Black Belt
3. Throb - Grasshopper
4. A.Paul - Monte
5. (Unreleased yet)
6. A.Paul VS Industryalizer - Hypnotizing
7. DJ Misjah - Undercover
8. A.Paul - Convey
9. Cozmic Spore - Nothing but Trouble
10. A.Paul - Muray
11. L.K. - Multiverse
12. DJ Pallette - L'arc
13. Marco Bailey & Tom Hades - Blade Runner
14. Vigil Energizer - Monochrome (A.Paul Dub Mix 1)
15. Vigil Energizer - Monochrome (Submerge101 remix)
16. Patterns - Collapse
17. Minus3 - Nipp (Mark Newman remix)
18. Lumor - Nightly Encounters (Pratap remix)

Here's the link to listen to it in streaming or even download it, if you have the courage :P

P.S. DJ Pallette is the best DJ name EVER.

Feedbacks are truly appreciated

It's called techno, not the minimal shit people call techno, the real PROPER techno !

Altho I agree it's better in a club, but it's good to hear someone actually still plays techno !

I thought it would be clear that it wasn't Minimal when I wrote the BPM range (ever heard minimal at 140 BPM? it's pretty rare but it rocks your mom)
And I am of the same of the same opinion that it's better in clubs than in a MP3 DJ set but you know, if you guys want to hear it in clubs, we must sacrifice our ears and promote it over the web.

Actually I'm surfing from boards to boards because I love this sound and I hear many people complaining about the lack of "the good old school Techno".
What I mixed on this one is my most "experimental" stuff but it's not the hardest, nor the most accessible. I think this kind of beat is a way of joining most people without being cheesy, nor lying to myself. Most of the released stuff nowadays can be pretty interchangeable with Tech Trance. All I've seen in a year in "techno" sections of most digital shops are : Tech Trance, Mindfuck Tech, Hard Techno (but closer to Gabber/Hardcore than before) and Minimal Techno.

Unfortunately, I missed the golden years of Techno because I was WAY too young and at this time, I was beginning to discover Electronic Music (precisely, Uplifting Trance at this time)

I <3 Techno.

Techno is still great even in a mix but I listen to old school techno cds mixed by old skool guys. My advice for you is take more time to prepare a techno tracklist. If you dig and wait long enough you can create something that can be fast like techno but wont have people saying it all sounds the same.
