I personally like ambient music...U know the relaxing trance


its nice to listen to in the morning... I mean i dunno bout u guys but could u listen to cosmic gate - fire wire in the morning?

trip hops pretty cool too..
but to answer wut ya asked.. i DO listen to trance in the morning.. i wake up to Stargate - Beams of Light most mornings hehe

Ambient is fantastic! It's like meditation. Something that can make you very emotional or sleepy and make you feel good and relaxed afterwards. It really catches me when I listen to it. Really fascinating style of electronic music.

is chicane ambient or regular? because some of his songs are very slow & quiet

yea.. some of chicane's stuff is ambient.. can't remember whic tracks. but on his album ... like half of them are ambient trance..

i know. Offshore, autumn tactics, halcyon and ordinary morning are very ambient or slow and good

The original mix of "Offshore" is ambient, but the the mix which got all the radioplay was the Disco Citizens Radio Edit (DC is a less chilled alias of Chicane) which isn't. The original version of "Sunstroke" is also Ambient but the A Side Disco Citizens version wasn't and is barely even recognisable as the same track!

mmm..i like offshore. both the original and the disco citizens remix. hehe. i heard it off first off of the hackers soundtrack.

is it non-dance music?

music with little or no bass beat?

I like ambient (from what I've heard), but I don't have any myself (except for a little Banco de Gaia) and I don't know what else to look for, so does anyone have any recommmendations?
