1- Yes our team sucked THIS YEAR, however you can't win always everything. France is (was?) ranked at the 1st place of the FIFA ranking, and there is a reason for that. We made a good Euro 96, a great WC98 (we won against paraguay, italia and... Brazil, 3-0, I don't think it's luck when you put 3 to 0 to a "good" team...). Then we won almost all our matches, won EURO 2002 against some other great teams, and we started to decline at the beginning of this year 2002...
For 4 years we've been the best team of the world, an "that is not a point of view, that's a fact too". So you can't say we're the worst world champions of history...
Now we have to build something new, bcoz you can't always win everything with the same players... Anyway as you might know we have a great number of excellent players in all the europeans championship, and in our one too. Everybody in Europe (England, Germany, Italy, Spain) says that: that is not my "point of view, that's a fact". Just look at Netherlands: they were not qualified,
they cried for a few time, and now they're working to recover their place among the best teams of the world. We'll do the same.
2- Yes you were lucky in 1994. You always need luck to win a mach at the penalties. We were in 1998, you were in 1994. Let's talk about Brazil BTW. Maybe you'll win this WC. Maybe (I'm not sure, I wait to see what you're able to do against a good team... You've been able to beat small teams -we've not- but will you against England, Sweden, Germany, italia or I don't know who...!, Just wait & See). But what have you done during the last 4 years? Nothing. Pelé said that if you had not been qualified, you should have been authorized to play anyway, beacuse "A WC without Brazil is not a WC". I think it's a very pretentious thing to say. A WC without Brazil is still a WC. Brazil would have been replaced by a better team at this moment, like Netherlands have been. That's all. Sure you have some great players, but till now you didn't prove they were able to play together. They always try to make people see them, and prefer their own success than the team's one. So wait & see...
3- We already have a team to support. We don't come from Brazil, wen our team is sick, we don't give up. We still support them. that's a good thing for us that we've been eliminated. Now we know that we can't always win, and we will work harder to be among the best of the world for the next years. For Euro 2004 for instance. I didn't say we will win this Euro, but we will work for that...
And finally, just a word from a 'little french boy'... Maybe we're not the best at football anymore, maybe... But we're still the best lovers of the world, don't forget it!  So who's the little boy?
