Well fellow ta's, finally the official details were worked out last night. So here's where it stands:

My friend Jay and I DJ using the alias "Save The Rhythm". We will be playing the main room @ Heat from 9-12:30, the event goes till 2am. We will be playing electro house, top 40 remixes, mash-ups, bootlegs and original material. We normally stray from the top 40 as much as we can, however on opening night in the main room...we will have to sell our souls and drop it in. (The promoters are the same ones who promoted NYEOC at the Hilton, and we played main room to 3000 people there too, so we know what the main room crowd will want - yet we'll still get away with some more unknown tracks too thankfully.) Each following week we will be in the Ultra Lounge from 10:30-2am, playing much more proper driven electro.

April 9th is our official launch party and birthday bash, so we are rather excited about it! After much discussion the promoters are calling it "Empire", however we are using our own flyer.

The best part is that every Thursday will be FREE! Just send a quick PM with your names, and I'll get you on our VIP list - mention our name at the door. Obviously I won't even pretend to compare us to the GIANT Thursday's we're replacing, but come check out a FREE event at Heat!

congrats tho, the venue is cool and good location.

as for replacing giant, the internationally known dj's will be missed, but if the crowd improves(get rid of the douches) and its a night of good music then you will have improved the ambience for the clubgoer.

Well it looks like we're going up against Faarsheed @ Red this Thursday. Not that we mind, obviously every Thursday Giant is going to have decent talent booked. I'm sure Armin tonight will draw a massive pull to Red. Cheers to all the parties, hopefully some of you come and see us at Heat!

Well for anyone who is going there has been a time slot switch; we are now playing from 11:30-2 and closing the night out. Next week Ultra Lounge is ours all night, but depending on how it goes we may be in the main room again. I like the sound in the Ultra Lounge better, especially the lows, but it's tough to say no to playing main room at Heat.
