Next week I'll be @ Pacha and was wondering if I could bring a camera with me.

Cameras should be banned from clubs (apart from a professional use of course)

^^ Try telling that to 99% of the female population, LOL.
An observation: there's little that girls love more than taking club pics of themselves and sharing them on Facebook.

Still annoying when you're trying to dance but have to work your way through random group photos every 5 feet.

I had trouble with my camera there once. It's a big old clunky sony digital camera, 7.1MP. They took the battery from it at the door. At first I thought it was some new policy they had made that you couldn't have cameras at all. As the night went on I saw everybody and their uncle with a camera. Nor did I see any signs prohibiting them. I asked to speak with the manager. They finally got me in touch with the manager, who told me they took my battery because my camera was a professional camera. I explained that it wasn't professional, it was just old. He said any camera above 5mp was considered professional. I tried to tell him that there were hundreds of people in his establishment with compact cameras with higher megapixels than mine, and if he were professional he should be able to tell a professional camera.... but no luck. They wouldn't give my battery back until the end of the night.
Since then I've gotten a compact canon camera and haven't had any trouble. But Pacha can kiss my butt :P

a few years back i was trying to gettin into pacha with a disposable, still in the packaging, they took it completely out of the box, out of the sealed plastic and then started pealing off parts of the paper, i guess i was trying to smuggle something in through the camera??? (they forgot to check my wallet lol)

Yes, unless it's a professional camera. If so you will require a photo pass from the promoter.
They have never taken my batteries, but they have taken them out of the camera to look inside the opening.

Every time i go there, Pacha is a pita for one reason or another... whether it's comp list drama or some strange new policy, I agree that Pacha can kiss it.
