Forty-one people were arrested and charged early yesterday morning after police raided an after-hours club in the city's Chinatown district.
The raid at 434 Dundas St. West, near Spadina Avenue, was carried out by officers from 52 Division's vice squad.
Constable Tony Vella, a spokesman for Toronto police, said "community complaints" about late night drinking and drug use led to an investigation of the club and the raid.
Of the 41 people arrested on drug, alcohol and other Criminal Code offences, four appeared at Old City Hall court for bail hearings yesterday. The same club was raided last December. The name of the club was not released by police.
