Question First song since Moving to Logic!

Hi TA,
Just wondering if you could take the time to listen to my latest track, It's the first song since one giant leap from cubase to logic which hopefully in the future will be rewarding??
Any comments would be highly appreciated!

Thanks for Your time!

Sounds great, just a little "dry" if you know what I mean. But that's my personal opinion, i like when everything "floats around"

....or something

OOPS! Will postin the Producers Promotion Forum from now on!!

Thanks Sinnica, Any suggestions on how to wet things up a bit, Do u mean experimenting with fx a bit more? I love the reverb in your track "her heavenly scent" is that hardware or software? Sounds Nice!
Thanks for your feedback!

Being the first song in a new sequenser, i'd say its awesome, it takes a lot of time adapting to the new ways to work with your song, at least it was for me uhhh 10 years ago, when I went from Logic to FL Studio (Fruityloops back then), i also sold all my hardware and went 100% software so the changes was many! Let me listen again when i get home and I'll give you the best advice I can, being pro and all *COUGH* LOL

Aye, the reverb is software.

And as JOE-SCULLY says, its a matter of opinion. I just like when there's a "mat" of FX or lower ambience filling the ground of the track. Did that make sense?

Hey,
Thanks for the feedback!
its gonna be a while before i can use logic to its full potential, i had 5.5 on pc about 5 years ago and alot has changed since then!
For you to have a listen when you get home would be a great help, i work alone and dont have a second ear with musical experience!
I understan what you mean by "mat of FX" but i think i need to dig deeper in to understanding this consept, i always end up cluttering up the mix, i suppose it will come in time!

Joe, ES2 is the only logic synth that i use which can produce some nice sounds, like i said earlier i had logic a while back so im familiar whith it! i use other audio units, im liking u-he zebra at the moment!

Thanks again guys!

Top notch, love the vocals... wouldn't mind having you exploiting the melody in the break a bit further..... and indeed a tiny bit more reverb/delay on the high end.. (low cut your verb output ot avoid mud)

Thought it sounded extremely crisp and clean Steve, great stuff. I wouldn't say the style was up my street but in terms of mixing quality and overall sound I was extremely impressed - particularly as I can't get my tracks to sound nearly as clear - despite having used Logic for a while now!

Cheers,
