hd problem

hey today i bought a 100gb hd 7200 rpm 2mb buffer stuff stuff stuff. Ok so i partitioned so my old hd is on my new one. So when i'm on the new one drive C: says 50 gb and drive D: says 50gb full but there isn't anything there...anyone have any idea what happend or should i just format it

check where u bought ur computer from...

make sure it doesnt say

"MADE BY AFGHANISTAN"

then u know its hardware problems...
