Any synth will do it but since you are obviously a member of "the please spoon feed me because i don't really want to work" phenomenon , perhaps try nexus and omnisphere by spectrasonics. They have some presets with the name "pad". That should get you started.

or just put a wet reverb on anything :P

Just find any sound you like and put a long sustain/release on it and you have a pad.

aha i dont post much in this section, and i am new to producing so i guess i do come off as one of "those guys" but i was just looking for some tips thanks.

Albino 3 does em well.

FM7 does em well.

Absynth 2 does em well.

Or get a Roland JX-8P

DSK etheral pads 2 is very nice, considering its a free vst with lots of customization. Im pretty sure you can find that at KVR forums or just google the name.

3OSC is probably the best tool for making pads, its simple, uses virtually no CPU power, and within 5 minutes [as apposed to clicking a preset in omnisphear or FM8 in 4 seconds] You can have an awesome pad...but it does require you to know how to use a synth. If you don't want to learn, sure pickup a 1 button synth [push a button and get good sound]...3OSC + FX can do anything Omnisphear can. Don't let people bullshit you into thinking otherwise.

And if you get z3ta, you basiclly have the entier softsynth market in one vsti.

I seriously doubt that. There is a reason there is gigs of samples in the omnisphere install. Its not so much a synth as it is a sampler.

check the spectrasonics website, and you'll see. 3osc is as far as I know only a subtractive synthesizer. I'm sure it can do wonders, but the stuff coming out of it, due to its features, is quite limited in terms of sound. Simply amazing how you can import your own sample and make a pad of a drumloop for example. :-)
