need to find a good restaurant around 14th st tonite
so im takin this girl out and im takin her to 230-fifth for drinks later, and i need to find a good restaurant around 14th st somewhere.... any recommendations?
That doesn't mean their good I'd say get something really light around there at one of the more casual spots for a salad or appetizers or something. Then take her to Max Brenner, that chocolate place, she'll dig it (I dig it). Then onto drinks
Otherwise if you really just wanna eat, there's Cafeteria on 17th st. and 7th. It's really an overpriced diner, but it's pretty swanky and on a Saturday, cool vibe and music; my ex used to love that place.
ended up takin her to blue water grill on 16th and broadway.... sooo worth it! best swordfish i've ever had

I saw this thread a little too late, but I figured this would come in handy anyway... what happened to the restaurant thread????
Taralucci e Vino, right next to Rosa Mexicano on 18th & University. Really good italian food, great wine list, and a tiramisu' to die for. About $100 for 2 ppl with a btl of wine is what my check usually is.
Make sure you try the burrata with the truffle oil and some balsamic vinegar.
