Looks like I'm the only one who voted yes so far.

i was for about 10 years or so things never really went anywhere and now i produce witch is much better i think, you can express yourself more and get greater chances to be a dj if you was to be a producer.

i where but gear took too much space and vinyl was expensive pluss the releases got only worse and worse both artistic and production wise. my last vinyls sounded shit and was horrible and a waste of money. as a last try i got CD players but i never found a way to keep the tracks sorted after burning them out as I was used to sleeves with colors etc instead of looking on tracknames. I might give it a shot again soon, but pure software/mp3/laptop.

I am a dj but not a producer yet. I have been djing for about 1 1/2 years and honed my skills quite a bit.
Now is where I want to start producing. I know next to nothing about producing so I feel like an ass. What can I do to start things off without looking like such a noob....?
