how do i go about making good scores? i've tried to make my own but when i use it on my latest melodies the keys are off & it's just not right. can anybody help?

The simplest form is to just pick a couple chords and play each key, as shown here.



OR you can do more complex stuff, such as this:



Both were made by hand.

The basic idea is you take a set of chords, and play each key of each chord in a simple pattern, my first image is a basic down pattern. You can experiment with different octaves and note lengths, as you see in the second picture.

Post images or midis of your own stuff and I can look at them and see what is up

thanks for the reply

i do use chords, it's when i apply 1 of my scores on a chord and the results are some keys are off and sound bad.

i guess another way to word my question is how should i go about creating scores?
