Mason - 'Front Row Chemistry' Out Now! MOO002

The Mason sound follows a simple method. Their understanding of melody and a canny ability to fuses it with technological know-how, sheer musicianship and dance floor savvy creates dance music for the thinking man, but not so clever to be alienating and dull. This is about rocking floors and letting the good time roll.

Frontrow Chemistry is an analogue funker of a tune, coming on in almost Gallic fashion with a serious groove and a heavy dosage of melody. Its big, fat and warm with a bottom end to die for. This will appeal to fans of house music, Kitsune and strong cheeses…

Capibara is a different animal all together. It’s a quirky piece of baroque house with its main sweeping melodic part being a pizzicatto violin riff played by Iason himself. The Refurb completes this package; a deconstructed pastiche in an alternative musical style which takes the original into Balkan territory with a gypsy violin re-interpretation. Very random, but brilliant!
