Quad-Core Support in Ableton 8

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at getting a PC with an Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q8200 @ 2.33GHz, 4GB RAM

I have 2 questions:

1 - I notice the Ableton website says that Live 8 has multicore support. Does Live 8 take advantage of quad core?

2 - Can I expect to get good performance out of the above specs with Live 8?

Thanks

That's only on a Mac running Linux, at maximum latency.

A methamphetamine induced psychosis, to the first question.

But the second question is a very good one... Let me try the Google contraption.

Sorry, that's the only one I could find.
