I made a video game!
So for the last two-thirds of this semester, a friend and I have been developing a video game using C# for my Object Oriented Design course. The rules were simple: Develop something using C# that practices good design concepts. We decided to create a game using the Microsoft XNA Framework.
EDIT: Before you play, install this:
XNA Redistributable Framework
It's a simple space shooter game, based off the popular game Geometry Wars. There are lots of colorful enemies, powerups, and if you have an Xbox 360 Controller, you can use that to play it! There aren't a shitton of features, but it's not supposed to be super complex. You can't really pause the game or change any settings, but that might come in future versions
Here are the controls for your keyboard:
Move - Arrows
Shoot - W A S D (directional)
Bomb - Space
If you died, Q quits and Space continues.
Here are the controls for an Xbox 360 controller:

It's more fun with the controller, because it feels more natural, but if you don't have a controller, and don't want to use the keyboard, you also can control the player using your mouse, but you must still fire using W A S D.
The song playing in the background is Pendulum - Slam.
Here are some screenshots.

Here are some links to it. All you need to do is plug in your controller if you have one, and double click the Asteroids.exe icon. Anyone having problems please let me know, and definitely let me know what you think of the game itself. Enjoy!
