Never played it, but from what I hear, if you want anything worthwhile to come of the experience, you have to dedicate a shitload of time to it. Not a good idea.

Seriously. Don't do it. Stay away from MMOs in general. You'll look back months/years later and regret wasting all that time.

I don't care about social life. My friends gf has it and I played it the other day and it was fun. I meant for this thread to help me level up fast lol or tell me what race to be or class.

I already dl the trail just have to wait till friday to buy it

There are 13 year olds out there who will level your character up to level 99 for like $50. Google "WOW leveling service" or something like that. I know someone who paid to have his character maxed out. It'll save you hundreds of hours of grinding.

That's no fun though.

WoW is not a bad game by any means. It has a very consistently great art style to it, and a lot of the game has become extremely streamlined for people who don't have a load of time to dedicate to it. But yeah, there are a lot of people who dedicate entirely too much time to it.
