Eastern Bloc and Play De Record debacle

OK so today I was vinyl shopping, and pop into Eastern Bloc. Main goal: Tiesto's remix of Oakie's Southern Sun.

So I walk into the store. Check the "New Releases" wall. Nothing.

"Hey do you guys have Southern Sun yet?"

"Uh, no, it's not released yet."

"???? I thought it was! Besides, I even saw it on your website."

"Must've been a promo or something."

"Uhh...okay.."

So I leave, cross the street to Play De Record (literally cross the street lol), and promptly see five copies sitting on the wall.

Any comments? :P Strange how these record store people can be sometimes.

BTW I grabbed a copy as soon as I saw it. The cover looks very nice IMHO.

1- old marketing bullshit so you come back later.
2- complete and retarded idiot who has no clue.

I prefer the first one, cause you wouldn't buy stuff at a store owned by a retard, would you?

hehe joking

Toronto is all about the Jungle/Hip hop vinyl

Finding good trance records in this town is like finding a needle in a haystack. For shame.

It's a combination of those 2... and that Eastern Bloc just plain sucks ass altogether. You need jungle? then go there. If not, avoid it like the plague.

I was in Eastern Bloc on about early this week and they had a few copies of it. I think I saw about 2 or 3, don't know how many because I didn't even pick it up off the shelf.

So my guess was that the guy didn't have a clue about trance.

I haven't bought anything since Souljah told me i should spin breaks, cause that will be the big thing that year. If that were the case, then why didn't he start spinning breaks?
He was off by a year too.
