"As a sub note, I think it will be interesting to see if the abomination of MTV can actually influence the popular music culture of a certain era as it did in the past. Well if MTV won't touch it, good. I don't want trance versions of Chingy and Soulja Boy ruining this great genre. You also don't think it'll sell as well as hip-hop? Maybe not. But if scene kids continue to grab a hold of this genre, it might give MTV evil ideas. I hate the fact that scene kids are giving trance a bad name.

MTV or no MTV, Hip-Hop is already fucking engraved in people's brains in the US.
