Faithless @ festivals like Pinkpop
This year, actually this weekend and tomorrow the Pinkpop music festival is celebrating it’s fourtiest anniversary. Pinkpop is listed in the Guiness Book of Record for being the oldest, uninterupted festival of Europe.
One of the acts which has been mentioned as best ever at 40 years Pinkpop is Faithless. As a Faithless fan I went to see them in 2002, and I was very impressed, ... more like blown away. Great how the (rock) crowd reacted, goose bumps.
I guess the video below shows more then words can tell...
Did more people over here see them at festivals which are not really dance festivals? Liked it or not?

On a similar note.. Faithless played at crasher a few weeks back. I didnt really know what to expect...
Sister bliss played in the main room and delivered a great set. Maxi played in one of the other rooms and was more a hip hop set. I was lucky to bump into him in one of them 'right time right place moments!'

I saw them at the Coachella Festival in 2007 and they were buy far the most impressive act I saw all weekend (not counting RATM). I had never heard of them before, but I, too, was blown away.

So I think you don't like the Faithless sound at all.
Some Faithless tracks never got really known. I can remember buying the "Don't Leave" maxi. First thought I was listening the wrong cd But it got better:
I had a look at 5 hours Pinkpop yesterday and think the 2002 Faithless act still rocks. A lot of energy and great respons by the audience.

i think this has more to do with which vocalists are touring with them, pauline taylor generally always does. LCK did a few years back but probably wouldn't anymore.
