Re: Trying to understand an Itunes problem

Ok I first started burning mp3's with Windows Media Player. Both CDJ 800 and 1000 played them perfectly well (but I hate that 2 second delay before you get to play the track ).
Last time, I tried using Itunes for a change and I liked it because managing, modifying, burning and printing playlists is so much easier.
But then I tried playing the mp3 CDs on CDJs... and to my great dissapointment only the first mp3 could be played. All the other ones were unavailable, I couldn't even skip to any other track .
I know it's Itunes that fucking up because Windows Media Player does not but I'd really like to know what s the problem there because Itunes is so much more practical. After googling for a while, I didn't find anyone who's had the same problem. Do you guys know what I could do to fix it (besides using WMP)? |
When you say all the others were not available, are you sure it wasn't one big mp3 file? Did you try skipping through the duration of first track with fast forward?
There's an option somewhere (i forget now) to set the gap between songs on or off. Also, if you're burning an Mp3 cd, any tracks in any other formats will not be burnt to the CD as itunes can only do single format, not mixed media.
