Analogue compressors and EQs. Maybe a mix of drum machines/sample CDs for good source sounds. Its not hard to get good sounding drums, if you have teh equipment. If you dont have the equipment, at least find some good source sounds. Know your monitors so that you can tell whether it is a good sound or not.
