Confused Remote25 to Remote SL

I'm looking into a Remote SL (2 octaves) I presently have a Remote 25. Is it realy worth the extra cash for auto mapping? I use Live8.
Or should I just bite the bullet, and get an APC40?

I don't know what I would do without automap.

I would highly recommend the 37 SL - It is perfect as far as octaves go with a ton of functionality.

www.novamusik.com

that place has the cheapest prices on novation gear you'll find.

I personally use the 49sl compact. i never, ever need to use 4 octaves at once but thats because i do all of my sequencing with mouse and quantization etc. the audio recordings i do are pre-planned or I am just playing around looking for melodies within the octave and possible up or down one (Making the 37 perfect)

Highly, highly recommend the SL 37

Ya! Thanks for the recommend, I use an X-Station 49 if I need the keys, but the layout of the buttons and sliders just don't feel right for me.

Bite the bullet and get an APC40?

You have just gone to the other end of the spectrum with regards to what type of controller you actually want.

Think about your needs before you make a purchase.

Well I found a Remote SL for a good price on eBay. The APC40 is not available here in Canada, they are all sold out. It gets a little tiresome programming the Remote25, so the automapping will be nice.

Thanks for the replies...
