Mexico gunmen attack police bases

It's pretty bad. We'r lucky here in El Paso that the violence hasn't spilled over. Right across the river in Juarez, over 1000 people were killed lasted year by violence. Not natural causes. Violence. It's like Baghdad over there.

They are better than that. The cartels hire former Mexican soldiers who use military tactics and weaponry in battle with rival cartels and the Mexican Army. Los Zetas is a criminal mercenary army in the service of the Gulf Cartel. These guys have 50 caliber machine guns. They don't play around. Some of them were trained in the School of the Americas in Fort Benning, Georgia! And they aren't the only ones. This is an interesting read...

I'v heard one story where this cartel leader took over a restaurant full of patrons, locked the doors, cut the phone lines, and trapped everyone inside. But all he wanted was to eat dinner! The guy ate, paid for everyone's meal, and left. That's as gangsta as you get...lol..
