You're a year late too as in 2008 already came out more than enough "electro house" remixes of Cafe Del Mar so your remix doesn't offer anything new to kick this dead horse back to life. How could it among all the 2145098598632543 official remixes of various genres so far and more remixes most likely coming out soon.
Your remix is still somewhat decent in its style but as a Cafe Del Mar remix it gets lost among the countless other average remixes trying to be hip with the "electro" sounds. If you want to go towards tech trance sounds, i hope you're making a totally new remix instead of evolving the "electro" ideas into tech trance. |
Thanks for your words, hard but to the point, aswell as being constructive in its own way.
I will be doing more original stuff when it comes to tech trance, ive been working on my basslines, so i used the cafe del mar melody to test out this bassline i had been working on, and i might aswell post it as its promoting more than anything.
I know what you mean with regards to electro, but its like any genre of music now, theres too many artists all crammed in, with too many average or samey sounds coming out.
I will be working on my sounds alot more in the coming months, so hopefully when my next track pops up you will appreciate it a lil better
