last night was ugggh-mazing!
King Unique is the biggest dj I've seen at Sully and woah - did he not dissapoint. He totally played - not like how I was expecting him to play. He's such an eclectic dj. He went from nice housey stuff to some banging shit.. back to some emo rockish remix. My fav is when the sound cut off (or maybe he just turned it off) and he yelled "Are you ready to dance? I'm tired of the lovin' and hugging shit" Or something along those lines. He then proceeded to just bang it out till the very end! \o/
KU is awesome. If you watch him on mute - you may think he is in the middle of the mosh pit with all his headbanging 
Basic NYC dj's did good. The guys before the bday boy were really good.
Couldn't stay for sleepy & boo as I was forcing myself to stay for KU's entire set and BOY, am I ever glad I did.
He closed it out with his remix of Tracy Thorn - Grand Canyon (KU mix) I just about freaked out. I was sitting for a bit and just had to be up in the front to jam out to that song. I fuking love it so much 
The only other song I semi recognized (which I don't keep up to date with music so I dunno if he was using ableton or if this is actually part of the track) during that emo rockish song he had 'underworld - two months of lyrics" before and after the actual lyrics of the rock song. "you bring the light in.. etc"
I'll see if I can look up what song that was. It was very beautiful and the underworld sample is uber sexy.
